DTE (Data Transformation Engine)

The DTE interface enables seamless, automated bi-directional data exchange between UL PSI Studio and internal systems. It supports multiple interfaces through data manipulation processes such as migration, import, and export within WERCS tables. This integration facilitates the generation of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), including product details, composition, and safety instructions. Below are which we have supported the interfaces for UL.

• Product Import – An interface designed to seamlessly transfer product-related data and formulations from predefined tables into the UL PSI database. This ensures accurate and structured data integration for streamlined operations.
• Product Export – Facilitates the smooth transfer of product-related data and formulations from the UL PSI database to intermediate tables, allowing for easy data extraction and further processing.
• Data Migration – A structured interface that enables the transfer of data from one structured database to another, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and smooth transitions during system upgrades or migrations.
• Orders Interface – Enhances the efficiency of processing product-related information, allowing the generation of compliant Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and other essential safety-related documents with minimal manual intervention.
• Label Interface – Provides a robust labelling solution with three distinct modes: fully automated, queue-based, or manual printing. This flexibility ensures that businesses can generate and manage labels efficiently based on their operational needs.
• SVT (Substance Volume Tracking) – A specialized interface that captures and transfers transactional data related to purchases, manufacturing, and sales orders from predefined tables into the UL PSI database, ensuring compliance and accurate tracking.
• XML Import / Export – Supports a standardized method for importing and exporting XML files, facilitating seamless data exchange between systems while maintaining consistency and accuracy.
• Inventory – Defines the functional and non-functional requirements, design constraints, and necessary factors for comprehensive inventory management. It enables businesses to import inventory and location data into the UL PSI database for better stock control.
• Dispatch Interface – Designed to transfer documents from the hosted environment to the client environment based on scheduled intervals or manual triggers. The interface ensures efficient distribution by enabling documents to be printed, faxed, or emailed as needed.
• TDS (Technical Data Sheet) – A specialized module that manages technical data for various chemical products, including product descriptions, temperature specifications, environmental impact, and other key details essential for regulatory compliance.
